New Locations

After filming in the locations that we had chosen the first time, we realised that filming in a public and busy place is quite difficult. For example it was hard to avoid people being in the background who weren't meant to be there. So instead as a group we decided to relocate our filming to a less profile area. We have decided to do the film in two sections. First we will our film in a location we have chosen that is within our school. This being behind the stage of our assembly hall. It is a corridor which is fairly empty and dirty and we thought that this kind of setting would be perfect for the eerie and creepy effect we want. And the second time we will film it will be at my house and along the street where my house is located the reason being is because the street lamps on the road give out a lot of light making it easier to film as we are able to see the actors/ actresses better.

Our Locations

We chose these locations because they seem like very isolated and in some ways quite eerie.
We also thought about what these locations would look like in the evening and
at night as we are most likely going to film nearer the end of the day so the lighting of our
opening to a thriller is quite low key which will help set the mood of the opening.

Moodboard

Moodboard

This is a moodboard of which reflects the common concepts of a thriller movie. We have used this as inspiration for our own ideas, as this has had a big influence on the genre - thriller.
Allowing ourselves to get the right idea for the type of movie we would like to follow, has to be done correctly, as we would like to achieve a professional approach. Furthermore, this moodboard shows a collection of images, all of which we think analyse and portray what is needed to make it successful.
